The Best Things: What He Lacks in Size, He Makes Up for in Smart

I’m working on some issues and I hope you can help me. Maybe when you hate your job, think about when you didn’t have a job. If you think the grass is greener on the other side, please consider how great your yellow grass is yours and yours alone even with all the weeds, junk, and dog poop. Instead of dwelling on my issues, there are the positive. My best things are those little moments that make me forget the crappy moments.

Humnoy recently got weighed and is still on the petite side (19 pounds at a year) and I fretted over how I somehow produce skim milk! He still fits 6-9-month clothing and fits his size small cloth diapers. While this is concerning, I remember all of his special gifts that show that he is not malnourished or underdeveloped. Everyday, we marvel at his physical ability (rolling over at 4 weeks, crawling at 5 months, walking at 8, etc.) but he is also a wonderful learner and a very adjusted child. He has his own form of sign language! We joke that he is a true triple threat – good-looking, smart, and athletic! Here is Humnoy showing most of his sign language that we have used in our home.
