I don’t have the time nor the patience to cook fresh and from scratch every day like my grandmother and mother but I think I can do it at least once a week! Yes, once every seven days is do-able.
I’m trying, y’all. I really am.

So what have you made?
Hi! I posted the recipes on my website here:
http://thelaotiancommotion.com/category/lao-culture/weekly-lao-food-challenge/
I love your recipes! Laotian food is very difficult to come by where I live in the US but I got a real taste for it when I was in Laos. I ate a noodle dish there dubbed Pad Lao, it used the bundling vermicelli noodles and had a creamy taste and was bright yellow. Any idea what the recipe is?
I travelled S.E.A. for many months and Lao food is the best! No frills amazing asian soul food I think is the best description I could come up with! I managed to put on a stone in a matter of weeks eating pumpkin curries, fried fish and banana fritters on Don Det (si phan don) on the Meekong. Would love some more recipies.. keep up the good work 🙂 Would return in a heartbeat if I could.. what’s it like travelling to Lao from Ireland with children?
To be honest, I’d have no clue – I have never been with or without children. I truly hope to change that someday soon though! 😉
I hope you’re able to follow along with my Lao recipes! I love hearing people enjoy good Lao cookin!
sorry meant travelling from the U.S… silly me.. I’m from Ireland!
